IF ONLY I COULD RATE THEM WITH NEGATIVE 10 STARS

NEGATIVE 10 STARS!!! CAN I GET WHAT I PAY FOR ND THE SERVICE I AM LEGALLY ENTITLED TO HAVE???!!!!! Rent has NEVER been late. A majority of the time, our rent is paid 1-2 weeks in advance. Obviously, there is no benefit in maintaining a tenants' side of this business relationship. There is absolutely no sense of urgency with this management company on multiple occasions: [1] We did not have a working fire alarm system. We could never get the manager, Fernando to respond until I called him with the LACC code violation. That got him moving! [2] Our stove was red-tagged. It took Fernando 4 months to respond (as we were prohibited from changing out of the stove ourselves). [3] The antiquated heating system was red-tagged. (Do you see a pattern here?) The management team did not come to fix it for 2-weeks, stating, "... due to the weather, we did not need to use the heater at this time." I had to call the owner, MR L in order to get this LACC code violation addressed. [4] The rear security door rotted from the hinge. The response I received from the manager is "The security door is a courtesy. It is not something that is part of the rental agreement." (However, it is noted on my lease agreement which legally makes this a permanent fixture.) P.S. I've studied real estate. These folks take no action unless you address / re-address them with a legal (violation/requirement) code. If that isn't enough, identified Crips (gang members) live directly across the street. The security gate hits against the (remaining) mortar faux bricks, and it is a nuisance. The security cameras do not work. They may be there as a decoy. The security gates have not had working locks in over a year and a half. There is a infestation of bugs -- spiders, thumb-sized roaches, etc. I have never heard of an issue of mice/rats. (This could be due to the 8+ stray cats that roam throughout the complex.) I'm not certain if my feeling of disgust is due to Fernando's management style or that the company complies with Fernando's laziness and inabilities. Either way, he is their representative. Our letter of intent to move has been submitted for obvious reasons.
